Healing of the mind, body, and spirit......
I am now located in the Living Life Counseling Center! I treat a number of mental health disorders, and provide a safe non-judgmental space for individuals and couples.
My focus is to help individuals heal, energize, and become aware of their inner strengths. I begin by meeting you where you are, listening to your concerns, and customizing a plan for you to achieve your goals.
I promise to be there for you every step of your journey. I want to help you grow from your struggles, heal from your pain, and move forward to where you want to be in your life.
I am a Board Certified Counselor with specialized training in geriatrics, grief and loss, anxiety, stress, panic attacks, depression, suicide, psychosis, and self-harm. I am a QPR Suicide Prevention Gatekeeper Instructor and a Give an Hour provider. I am also a Board Certified- TeleMental Health provider.
I offer a sliding scale.
I am a Board Certified Professional Christian Counselor. Working together, we can choose to use your faith as a foundation for recovery and to discover your purpose. You will be able to work through the difficult events from your past or currently, using a faith-based approach. I am a certified Prepare Enrich facilitator, working with pre-marital couples and couples in conflict.
I am the only HSP-trained therapist in Alabama. Take a moment to complete the self-assessment at http://hsperson.com/test/highly-sensitive-test/
You will be understood as an HSP or empath, or I can help you to better understand the HSP/empath in your life.
Are you struggling with the recent, or not so recent, loss of a beloved pet? I am a Certified Pet Loss Companion and would be honored to accompany you on your grief journey. I understand that the pain you are feeling is a reflection of the love you had for that pet companion. I will provide compassion, while listening to your story about the unique relationship between you and that special pet.
